Take the Pledge to End Mandatory Minimum Sentencing Laws

Empowered By

Families Against Mandatory Minimums is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization fighting for fair and proportionate sentencing laws that allow judicial discretion while maintaining public safety.

About the Pledge

The movie Snitch brought awareness of draconian mandatory minimum sentencing laws to light for millions of Americans.

Within months, bi-partisan bills were introduced in both the House and the Senate to address this issue that has sentenced many victims to excessive sentences.

I pledge to send a letter to my representatives in support of the newly introduced Justice Safety Valve Act of 2013 in both the House and the Senate.
