Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a severe condition that can occur after any type of traumatic event and persist for a lifetime if not treated. Stand with organizations like Hidden Wounds and give American veterans the support they need to fight PTSD.
PTSD affects 7.7 million U.S. adults every year. People with PTSD are often plagued by nightmares and can suffer from psychosis, emotional outbursts, substance abuse, problems with memory and other types of mental and physical health conditions. More than 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from PTSD or depression. About half of all soldiers with PTSD will never seek treatment.
There are ways for all Americans to get involved. Stand with Hidden Wounds and help give veterans the resources they need to combat PTSD.

I will support organizations like Hidden Wounds and help American troops battle PTSD. Understanding what a soldier with PTSD is going through and making sure they don’t isolate themselves is important.
