Compassion in World Farming just conducted a detailed undercover investigation of 45 pig farms in the EU. The results were frightening. The group found pigs living in barren, concrete pens and sow stalls, unable to see or experience the outdoors. In addition, a large number of pigs die every year because of heat stress, cruel conditions, and illness.
Stand with organizations such as Compassion in World Farming, and urge the European Agriculture Council to protect the well-being of the EU’s pigs immediately.

We, the undersigned, urge you to look into the cruelty occurring at pig farms in the European Union. Pigs are living in restricted pens and are sometimes even forced to sit in their own excrement. These conditions directly conflict with animal welfare laws in the EU.
I stand with organizations such as Compassion in World Farming in asking you to protect the well-being of pigs immediately.
