In U.S. slaughterhouses nearly 1 million sick or injured turkeys and chickens are boiled alive each year. Employees in these facilities fail to kill them before they are dropped in scalding water.
Chickens and turkeys are not protected under the Humane Methods of Slaughter Act, whereas cows, pigs, and other animals are; as a result, birds aren’t required to be rendered unconscious before slaughtering.
Stand with organizations such as the Farm Sanctuary, and demand the USDA create regulations to ban the vicious slaughter of sick and injured birds.

We, the undersigned, urge the USDA to create regulations that will keep injured or sick chickens and turkeys in the U.S. from being boiled alive.
I stand with organizations such as the Farm Sanctuary in demanding the USDA create regulations to ban the vicious slaughter of sick and injured birds.
