Childhood bullying can have have lifelong impact, leading to depression, anxiety, substance abuse and even suicide. We have the power to prevent it, if we take action.
Here’s what you can do:
- Be More than a Bystander: Read these tips on how you can stop bullying in your day-to-day life.
- Get Help From the Professionals: Don't think you can handle every situation on your own. Reach out to trusted adults—teachers, parents, school administrators—who are there to help. If the bullying still isn't being addressed, you can find more resources at StopBullying.gov.
- Raise Awareness: Art can be a powerful tool to tell a message. Watch and share the To This Day Project, which explores the profound and lasting impact of bullying.
